Shelby Kramp-Neuman, Member of Parliament for Hastings-Lennox and Addington, released  the following statement on the tabling of the 2024 federal budget.

“Since being elected, the Official Opposition and I have been extremely clear on the three  criteria that we need to see in any budget to secure our support: removing the carbon tax,  a concrete plan to build homes, and a responsible, fiscally sound approach to government finances. This budget has failed to meet any of these three pillars. I urge the other  opposition parties, particularly the NDP, to acknowledge that the confidence and supply  agreement they have with the government is driving up affordability and the cost of living  and vote with the Conservatives against this budget and give Canadians across the country the opportunity to voice themselves at the polls as soon as possible.”

“The good news is; life in Canada wasn’t like this before Prime Minister Trudeau, and it will not be like this after he is gone. The Common Sense Conservatives have a plan to bring  growth and prosperity back to Canada,” reads Kramp-Neuman’s release.
