The Hastings Lennox and Addington Provincial Liberal Association held a well attended meeting in Stirling to elect a new executive board on Saturday May 27.
Roger Martin and Dave Campbell from Lanark brought us up to date on the new Ontario Liberal Party Rural/Northern Commission which was recently approved by the Party. As well, three of the leadership candidates also attended and were well received: Ted Hsu, MPP for Kingston and the Islands, Dr. Adio Shamji, MPP Don Valley East, and Nate Erskine-Smith, MP Beaches-East York.
Each of these candidates gave a short talk about why we should vote for them to be our new provincial Liberal leader. Liberal members from the Bay of Quinte were also welcomed.
