Suddenly, at home on Friday, May 26, 2023. Linda Florence Gurnsey (nee Milligan) of Napanee at age 79. Pre-deceased by her parents Roy and Edith Milligan. Beloved wife and best friend of 55 years of the late Leon Gurnsey and loving mother of Randy Gurnsey (Jenn) and Jeff Gurnsey (Catherine). Grandmother to Will Gurnsey (Amara); Charlotte Chambers (Billy); Caroline Gurnsey (Connor Burns); Emma Schmeler (Derek) and Jake Gurnsey. Great-grandmother of Raya. Sister of Jane Calver (Frank) and the late Neil Milligan (late Myrna). Sister-in-law of Mildred Moss (late Arthur); Floyd Gurnsey (Doreen); Thelma McMain (late Al); Barbara Reynolds; Nancy Rahberger (Johnny); late Mary Lott (Roland[Linda]); Harold Gurnsey (Mabel); Pauline Whan (late Sidney); late Stanley Gurnsey (Laura), late Garry Gurnsey (late Melanie); Judy Lott (Clifford); Connie Detlor (Ronald); Diane Lang (Murray) and Kevin Gurnsey (Wendy). Linda will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and neighbours from 81 Donald Street in Napanee and dear friends Neil and Lee Hopper. The family will receive friends at the Hannah Funeral Home, in Tamworth on Saturday, June 3 from 9:30 a.m., with Service at 11 a.m. Interment Tamworth Cemetery, followed by reception in the funeral home. Memorial donations made to the Lennox and Addington County Hospital Foundation or M.S. Society would be appreciated.
