There are now five names on the ballot for Hastings-Lennox and Addington vying for the job of Member of Parliament ahead of the Oct. 21 federal election.

On Saturday at Napanee’s SPC the Green Party named Sari Watson as the one who will carry the local flag for Elizabeth May. Watson, a member of Stirling-Rawdon’s municipal council, ran as a Green in this area in the last provincial election.

The New Democratic Party has tapped David Tough for this riding. The Peterborough native is an instructor at Trent University and the University of Toronto.

Their latest two candidates will run against incumbent Mike Bossio of the Liberals, Derek Sloan of the Conservatives and Adam L.E. Gray of the People’s Party of Canada.

An all candidates meeting is expecting to take place in Napanee in early October, though the exact date is yet to be finalized.
