Greater Napanee to host public meeting April 20 to gather input for strategic plan development

The Town of Greater Napanee will host an in-person public meeting for input on development of an inaugural strategic plan, April 20 at the Strathcona Paper Centre.

The meeting gets underway at 7 p.m.

Residents wishing to partake in the community engagement session are asked to register in advance from now until April 18 at 4:30 p.m. via Let’s Talk Greater Napanee (www.letstalkgreaternapanee.ca). Those with limited internet access can call Brianna Clement, community engagement clerk at 613-776-1122 to register over the phone.

Walk-ins are welcome on April 20 but pre-registration to the meeting will allow staff to gauge attendance numbers to set up tables and chairs accordingly. Residents who register prior to the meeting will be entered to a draw for a chance to win a $100 gift card to a local business of their choosing.

Town staff and representatives from the consulting firm supporting the development of the strategic plan will be present at the meeting. A brief presentation on the strategic planning process will be provided. After the presentation those in attendance will have the opportunity to ask questions and participate in a group discussion so that ideas for the future of the Town of Greater Napanee can be shared and discussed. The ideas discussed will be used as input for the development of the strategic plan.
