The Town of Greater Napanee is in continuous communication with KFL&A Public Health and staff are monitoring the status of the COVID-19 pandemic in the KFL&A region.
As a result of the current COVID-19 situation in the region, the Town is taking appropriate action to implement measures to ensure the health and safety of everyone. These safety measures will come into effect as of 11:59 p.m. on Friday, December 17, 2021 and will remain in place until further notice is given. Please note that some municipal services will be affected.
Municipal Services that are unavailable as of 11:59 p.m. on Friday, December 17, 2021:
• Ice rentals and any sports programs offered through the Town are suspended until further notice. Any ice rentals that have been cancelled will be refunded.
• Hall rentals are unavailable until further notice. Any hall rentals that have been cancelled will be refunded.
• There will be no public access to any municipal office until further notice (this includes the Strathcona Paper Centre lobby – non-town operated businesses within the SPC will remain open with alternative access). Town staff will remain available to correspond via telephone or email. The public can find staff contact information on the “Contact Us” page of the Town’s website, www.greaternapanee.com. The Town strongly encourages residents to make use of its online services and online payment options available on the Town’s website, when possible. The mail slot at the front door of Town Hall is also available for payment drop-off by cheque as a backup for online and bank payments. Online/electronic services include, but are not limited to:
• Making payments to taxes and utilities bills
• Paying a parking ticket
• Reporting an issue through the Town’s online module
• Obtaining burn permits •
