Beaver Sports

Competing at a meet for the first time since February 2020, the athletes of Greater Napanee Gymnastics Club put on a strong showing at the Smith’s Falls Provincial Qualifying, held April 9-10.

GNGC had girls competing in Level 2, 3, 4 and 6.

Highlights of the weekend include:

LEVEL 2

Lauralyn O’Neil – earned a silver medal on floor

LEVEL 3

Anna Wynn – five silver medals (one on each event and in the all round)

Aspen Sproule – gold medals on bars, beam and floor, and a silver medal in the all around.

Kennedy Else – bronze medal on vault, and silver medals on beam and the all around.

Aby Misevicius – bronze medal on floor, and gold medal on vault

Isla Bibby – bronze on vault, silver on floor, and gold medal on bars. Silver Medal All round. She was also given two special judges recognition awards on vault and bars.

Nara Rickard – silver on vault and bars, gold on beam, floor and all round.

LEVEL 4

Natalie Barber – silver medal on beam and floor, gold medals on bars and in the all round.

Brynn Woodcock – bronze on beam, and the all round, and the gold medal on bars.

Avery Greyling – bronze on floor, silver on vault, bars and the all round, and gold on beam

LEVEL 6

Seleena Anger – bronze on vault and beam, silver on floor and the gold medal on bars and all round.
