GNES smoke alarm exchange program wraps up

The last of Greater Napanee Emergency Services’ free smoke alarms have been given out, marking the end of the successful Project Zero program.

All month long the local fire department was handing out free combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarms to any resident who brought in a alarm that was 10 years of older. The project was made possible through a donation from Enbridge Gas.
