FOX, Joan Ethel (Davis)
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Lennox & Addington County General Hospital on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at the age of 84. Born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario on September 12, 1940. Daughter of the late Ernie and Annie Davis. Joan will be forever missed by her husband and best friend Howard Fox of 62 years. Cherished mother of Kimberly Davis (Allen) and Toni Lee Murphy (Stephen). Grandmother of Joshua Davis (Stephanie), James Davis (Chelsea), Shannon Murphy (Chris), Alanna Lee (Mitch) and Kyle Murphy (Krista). Great Grandmother of Aria Lee, Madison Lee, Olivia Davis, Eloise Asselin and Beckett Davis. Sister of the late Shirley Millard (Gary). Will be dearly missed by many brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and coworkers.
Cremation has been entrusted to Milestone Cremation Services. Her wish was the following “Remember me with smiles and laughter, for that is the way I will remember you but if you can only remember me with tears and sadness, then don’t remember me at all.” A Celebration of Joan’s Life will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm at the Grace United Church Hall, Napanee.
