A 28 year-old Napanee woman died Sunday following injuries suffered while riding an ATV on the Cataraqui Trail north of Camden East.
The collision occurred on the trail approximately 200 metres east of County Road 4. A female and male were travelling eastbound on an Arctic Cat four wheeler when it struck a metal gate that was across the trail.
Both parties were transported to hospital with serious injuries.
The female, identified as 28 year-old Miranda Shaddick, succumbed to her injuries at hospital. The male remains in hospital with serious injuries.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators attended the scene and the collision remains under investigation.
