Lennox and Addington OPP are investigating a single motor vehicle collision that occurred on County Rd 33 in Adolphustown on Tuesday around 5 p.m.
A motor vehicle travelling westbound entered the south ditch and struck a tree. As a result of the collision, a 75-year-old Napanee area summer resident was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver was later identified as Harry Wells.
Napanee Fire, Lennox and Addington EMS, and OPP attended the scene. At this time, the Lennox and Addington OPP Crime Unit along with OPP Technical traffic Reconstructionist teams are investigating the collision. Traffic was redirected on County Rd 33, but the highway is now open.
