Passed away at the Lennox and Addington County Hospital in Napanee on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Gail Darling Dowling of Selby at age 83. Beloved wife of Des Dowling and dear mother of Robert McFarlane (Debby) of Tweed, Debbie Hamilton (Steve) of Yarker, Mike Dowling (Stacey) of Selby and Michelle Hannah (Derek) of Croydon. Grandmother to Melissa, Dustin (Lacey), Chantel, Blake, Olivia, Owen, Liam, and Grace and great-grandmother to Levi, Kai, Adalai, Oaklei, Brody, Hanna and Peyton. Will also be fondly remembered by her brothers and sisters in law and nieces and nephews. The family received friends at the Hannah Funeral Home, in Napanee at 123 Dundas Street West (613-354-3341) on Friday, January 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial was at St. Patrick’s Church, 179 West Street in Napanee on Saturday, January 20 at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Lennox and Addington County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
