Digital Main Street funding helps local businesses improve digital presence

Beaver Staff

Five local businesses have secured provincial funding to upgrade their online footprint through Ontario’s Digital Main Street program.

Marie’s Place, L&A Mutual, Coffee Cravings, Total Aquatics and Dundas Street Bakery have all been awarded $2,500 grants in the last year. That money can be put towards building new websites, increasing SEO (search engine optimization), increase their social media presence and build online stores.

Downtown Greater Napanee BIA was also able to hire a digital service specialist, Chris Morris, to work one-on-one with Napanee businesses to improve their digital marketing.

Businesses have until Dec. 31 to apply for Digital Main Street funding.
