DEREN, John
Passed away peacefully, at the Lennox and Addington County Hospital in Napanee on Saturday, April 20, 2024. Walter John Deren of Napanee at age 92. Beloved husband of the late Grace Deren (deceased May 9, 2022) and dear father of Steven Deren (Katie) of Akron, Ohio. Predeceased by his siblings Joe (Stasia); Marie Szpuner and Mike (Winnie of Australia) and by his parents Jankowce and Anna Deren. John and Grace will be fondly remembered from their involvement at the Napanee Golf Course, they were avid Golfers and frequent travelers, John operated the Pinto Convenience Store in the Market Square and later The Mainstay Health Food Store in Napanee. The family received friends at the Hannah Funeral Home in Napanee at 123 Dundas Street West on Wednesday, April 24 from 12 noon, followed by a Service at 1:00 p.m. to remember both John and Grace. Interment followed at Riverside Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
