Shortly before 4 p.m. on Tuesday emergency services responded to the 1800 block of Lennox and Addington (L&A) County Rd 9 following a report that a vehicle had collided with a house.
An occupant of the motor vehicle has been pronounced dead at the scene. The occupants of the house were not injured.

Collision investigators are currently on scene and police have closed County Rd 9 to traffic between Abrams and Fitchett Roads while the investigation into the cause of the crash continues. While the length of the closure is not known at this time, police request that everyone avoid the area until the road is reopened.
