Cornerstone Christian Academy will be hosting a coed three pitch softball fundraising tournament at the Napanee Fairgrounds this Saturday.
Teams must consist of six men and three women on the field at all times. The tournament will get underway at 8 a.m. and run all day. The amount of games each team plays is dependant upon how many teams register, with organizers hoping for at least eight teams.
The cost to enter is $300 per team.
“It goes directly to help with operation of the school,” Jennifer Carpenter of Cornerstone Christian Academy said of the entry fee. “Tution only covers about 53 per cent of the annual budget and the parents are involved with filling in additional funding to help meet the budget in addition to donations from the community.”

Cornerstone Christian Academy, located at 320 Bridge Street in Napanee provides a biblically based curriculum. They are currently accepting registration for the fall 2018 school year.
