Conservation Park washrooms closed due to vandalism

Greater Napanee’s Conservation Park washrooms have been locked shut to the pubic amid a rise of vandalism to the building.

“Over the past few weeks there have been repeated incidents of vandalism in our parks, playgrounds and facilities,” reads a statement from the town. “We encourage our residents and visitors to report any witnessed acts of vandalism to the Ontario Provincial Police. We also encourage residents to report any broken, damaged or vandalized components of our parks and facilities using the ‘Report and Issue’ tool on the town’s website.”

The washrooms will remain closed until further notice.

A portable washroom unit is on site in Conservation Park and the washrooms at the Rotary Park and Splash Pad remain open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
