Another year, another record was set during Napanee’s Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser.

The last few dollars from the Feb. 24 walk were collected on Saturday, bringing the final total to $106,808. That tops the previous high set in 2023, when they brought in just over $102,000. It well surpasses the funds collected back in 2021, which was $61,000. Since its launch, Napanee has continued to establish new highs in terms of dollars generated each year.

Every cent raised from the event will go to the Morningstar Mission. That money will help them to support their many programs throughout the year, including the warming centre.
