Peacefully at home, surrounded by family and friends on Monday, January 8, 2024, after a brief battle with cancer. Patricia Diane Clarke of Newburgh at age 73. Beloved wife of 51 years to David Clarke and loving mother of Charles Clarke (Lori) of Roblin and Nicole Clarke of Newburgh. Nana of Tenisha Clarke (Cody Lewis) of Kingston and Natasha Clarke of Belleville. Sister of Beverly Reis (Joe) of Winnipeg and loving niece to Jack Powell (late Helen); Norman Powell (Keitha); Marie Powell; Deloris Powell and sister-in-law of Joan Peters (late Claude); Larry Clarke (Faye); Sharon Rowe (Barry); Linda Sangster (late Jim) and Jimmy Wood. Pre-deceased by her parents Marjorie Brooks and Otto Kable; by her uncle Tommy Powell (Ellen) and Mike Powell and by her aunts Annie Celestini (Joe) and Mary Ladislaus (Joe). Will also be sadly missed by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. The family received friends at the Hannah Funeral Home, in Napanee at 123 Dundas Street West (613-354-3341) on Thursday, January 11 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial was at St. Patrick’s Church, 179 West Street in Napanee on Friday, January 12 at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated the family.
