Chadwick posts team high 94 per cent accuracy to lead Ontario to first win at Brier

Scott Chadwick is off to a strong start at the 2019 Tim Horton's Brier as a member of Team Ontario.

Napanee’s Scott Chadwick shot with a team high 94 per cent accuracy to help Team Ontario to a 9-2 victory over Team Nunavut this morning at the 2019 Tim Horton’s Brier in Brandon, Man.

The victory was the Cataraqui Golf and Country Club based team’s first win at the tournament, giving them a 1-2 record heading into this evening’s match against the Northwest Territories. They opened the tournament with a 7-6 loss to Team Canada followed by an 8-5 loss to Alberta. Chadwick posted an 83 per cent shooting accuracy against Brad Gushie’s Team Canada and a team high 93 per cent against Alberta.   

Now based out of Kingston, Chadwick began his curling career as a member of the Napanee and District Curling Club. He serves as lead for Scott McDonald’s rink.
