On March 30 at approximately 12:45 p.m. officers of the Lennox and Addington OPP and other emergency crews responded to a report of a multiple vehicle collision at the intersection of Alkenbrack St and Centre Street in Greater Napanee.

Investigation revealed that a southbound pickup truck proceeded through a red light on Centre Street and collided with another vehicle. The truck then drove over the centre median and collided with three other vehicles.  Several persons were treated by paramedics and taken to hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the pickup truck was uninjured.

As a result of the investigation L&A County OPP has charged a 29 year old female from Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory with Careless Driving contrary to the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.
