Artists aged 10-19 will have the opportunity to showcase their skills, design an iconic symbol of Greater Napanee and support a charitable cause in the process.
A Loveleigh Place and The Napanee Beaver have teamed up to host a t-shirt design contest. Artists aged 10-19 can submit their original artwork in any medium featuring Timber, the Napanee Beaver mascot. The winning design will be replicated on a t-shirt, with proceeds of the sale of shirts going to charity.
Cash prizes are also up for grabs with $150 going to the winner and $100 to the second place artists age 15-19 and junior artists age 10-14. Additional art workshop and art supply packages can be won as well.
A drop-in design workshop featuring artist Ryan Carde will be held Aug. 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Aug. 27 from 12 to 5 p.m. at A Loveleigh Place.
