Napanee Stars teams had a solid Thanksgiving weekend, winning five of eight contests.
The Napanee Atom BB Stars were robust 11-3 winners in Bancroft and then overpowered Stirling 14-3 in their second road game of the weekend.
Napanee’s Joyce’s Meats Atom AEs won two of three games. First a 6-3 win over Loyalist and then followed that up with a 5-2 victory against Stirling. They fell 5-1 in Douro.
In the Stirling game, Sam McCaw and Evan Godfrey each scored twice while Drew Osborne chipped in a single.
The Peewee AE squad outscored Centre Hastings 6-5. Nic Lamarche and Caleb South led the way with two tallies each, with singles added by Rhett Brady and Jayden Holden.
The Midget BBs won 3-2 in Ennismore, and tied Frontenac 1-1 on home ice the Strathcona Paper Centre. In the home game, Spencer Chatterton scored for the Stars.
