Canadian Blood Services is now accepting bookings for an upcoming donor clinic, which will be held May 21 from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Strathcona Paper Centre.

When donating blood, the standard donation is approximately 450 mL, slightly less than half a litre or two cups. This represents a small portion of the blood in a person’s body, as the average adult has about five litres. The entire process takes just over an hour.
