Blood donor clinic coming to Napanee July 24

Canadian Blood Services will be hosting an appointment only blood donor clinic July 24 at the Strathcona Paper Centre.

To reduce the risks associated with COVID-19 and to help ensure physical distancing, only those who pre-book a time slots at Blood.ca will be eligible to make a donation. The clinic will run from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Since the start of the pandemic, Canadian Blood Services has added additional cleaning and safety measures to their already robust screening and cleaning protocols. Donors must wear masks at all times when inside the SPC.

Traditionally summer has been a time when donations tend to slow down, making mobile clinics like the one scheduled at the SPC critical to help ensure a steady reserve for Canada’s national blood supply system.
