July

Napanee’s U20 Express met with members of the 1982 Napanee Legionnaires prior to a U20 Canadians game. Lillian Rogers rolls a pumpkin down the front hall of Southview Public School, part of Rachel Hendry’s annual Grade 4 ‘pumpkin math’ project. The class learned about height and mass by measuring the pumpkins and then concluded the lesson with a competition to see who could roll their pumpkin the furthest while looking to unseat the reigning champion, vice-principal Bill Dowling.
