On Tuesday at 1:45 p.m. an officer with the Napanee OPP responded to a report of a theft from a convenience store in Bath.
During the investigation the male became physically assaultive towards the officer. Additional officers attended to assist in the arrest. The police officers involved suffered minor physical injuries.
Charged with theft under $5,000, two counts of assaulting a police officer and two counts of resisting a police officer is a 59-year-old man from Bath.
