Bath’s Jeff Howes, 26, was among the four men who died in a helicopter crash near Tweed on Thursday.
Hydro One, the company all four men were working for at the time of the accident, confirmed the names this morning. Pilot James Baragar (39 of Orillia), Kyle Shorrock (27 of Inverary) and Darcy Jansen (26 of Long Sault) also passed away in the accident, which occured Thursday morning.
Hydro One says the men were working on a transmission tower in Tweed when the crash occurred. Howes, a line technician, had been with the company since August 2013.
A family assistance has been set up in Tweed to help the affected families during this time.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
