Avril Lavigne will embark on her Greatest Hits Tour this summer, with a handful of stops that are within 200 km of her hometown Napanee.
Citing an already high demand for tickets, Lavigne announced a second Toronto show has been added Aug. 12 at Scotiabank Arena. That show was added on top of her previous announcement, which has shows planned on Aug. 14 at Ottawa’s Canadian Tire Centre and on Aug. 16 at Toronto’s Budwesier Stage.
“I’ll be doing the Greatest Hits from all of my albums and along with some of your favorites, perhaps some special requests?,” Lavigne tweeted on social media. “And of course all of my friends are joining me!”
Those three concerts in August are part of the over 40 stop tour that includes stops not only across North America, but across Europe as well. The tour kicks off May 22 in Vancouver.
