Atom BB Stars’ offense erupts in third straight win

The Napanee Joyce’s Meats & Deli Atom BBs continued their winning ways with their third consecutive win, 17-1 over Campbellford last Sunday. Seven players had two goal performances- Matthew Airhart, Lucas Asselstine, Drew Osborne, Evan Gaffney, Mac McCaw, Tivon James and Sophie Fraser.   

-The Atom AEs got a solid performance from all quarters as they handled Bancroft 7-1 at the Strathcona Paper Centre.  Zachary Wilde scored twice, and Wes Davey, William Babcock, Cal Wilson, Peyton Brooks and Cooper Seaton also made the score sheet.

-The Peewee AEs lost on the road 7-1 to Norwood, and they were outscored 9-6 at the SPC by Centre Hastings.  Their goal production at home was a result of a hat trick by Noah Nugent, two by Carter Slaven and a single by Jacob Cox.

-The Napanee Novice BB’s scored often but it wasn’t enough as they fell 10-6 in Stirling.

-The Midgets were perfect on the scoresheet, winning 4-1 over Centre Hastings in Madoc and 8-1 facing Prince Edward County.

-The House League season in the Inter-Community League has also begun. Peewee 1 lost a close one, 3-2 to Prince Edward County. Kaden Casselman tallied twice in a losing cause while Cam Joyner was strong between the posts.
