Lenoox and Addington OPP have arrested a suspect in the Dec. 28 assault that occurred on Mill Street in Greater Napanee. The victim was alone when they exited a building in the area of Mill and John Street when they were assaulted. The victim was seriously injured during the assault.
The investigation led to the identification of a suspect and on Jan. 27, 2020 police arrested a 50-year-old man of the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory with:
- Aggravated Assault; and
- Fail to comply with probation
The accused has been held in custody and will attend a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on Jan. 27.
