A big thank you to Jeff and Luc of McLaren Tree Care.
They came out and rescued our cat Poppy from the top of a huge oak tree, on County Road 9, near our place. Poppy had been missing since Friday and we thought she was gone for good, probably coyotes or some other predator or even a car. Our neighbours texted me at lunch today and told me they found her at the top of a huge oak. After a failed attempt at retrieving her and a visit by the town to assess the situation they suggested to call an arborist as they may be able to assist. The tree was too close to hydro lines to get the ladder truck to help. So, after a few calls we got a hold of McLaren tree care and they said they would send out Jeff and Luc to help right away and it was after hours. Thank you so much guys. Poppy is safe and sound at home. Boy did she ever drink!
