ALLEN, Elizabeth
Born July 10, 1937, entered into rest on April 17, 2024 at her home of many years in Adolphustown, after a brief illness. Elizabeth May Allen (nee Vaughan) at age 86. Predeceased by her husband Clarence Allen and by her grand-daughter Kandi-May. She is survived by her son Richard (Lori), Mary (Les), Joanne and Janet (Gord). Grandmother to Jenny (Eric), Aimee (Sean), Brandi-Jo (Anthony), Joe (Sarah) and Tom (Amanda) and also loved by several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Also survived by her sister Maisie Allen and predeceased by her siblings Bill, Nora, Joe, Alan, Gena, Eleanor, Donnie, Annie Lorriane and Harry. The family received friends at the Hannah Funeral Home, in Napanee at 123 Dundas Street West (613-354-3341) on Saturday, April 20 from 12 noon, followed by service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment St. Alban’s Cemetery in Adolphustown. A Celebration of Her Life will also be held later in the summer at Adolphustown Park with date and time to be announced. Memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
