The Napanee and District chamber of Commerce (NDCC) is partnering with the County of Lennox and Addington County to develop a ‘shop local’ campaign for the holiday season.
The NDCC, which serves all of L&A County, recently received funding through the Ontario Chamber of Commerce to help launch the campaign.
Utilizing the county’s Naturally L&A brand, the new funding will amplify the county and Chamber’s ongoing shop local work and provide resources to create tangible results for local small businesses and talented entrepreneurs through enhanced marketing and promotion. The shop local campaign will begin early December and run until end of January 2022.
“Our businesses have been in survival mode for the past 18 months,” said Megan Sands, NDCC business manager. “As the province re-opens it is vital that our community continues to support our small businesses. We are thrilled to announce funding through the Ontario Chamber of Commerce to support a shop local initiative and to acknowledge our partnership with the County of Lennox and Addington Economic Development Office.”
More information on the campaign is expected to be released later this month.
NDCC is a non-profit organization committed to delivering high-value products, services and opportunities with a focus on advocacy, membership and community to businesses in Addington Highlands, Greater Napanee, Stone Mills and Loyalist Township.
