17 new COVID-19 cases in KFLA on Saturday, active count at 78

KFLA Public Health reported 17 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, nearly double the amount of new cases reported the day before.

Saturday’s new case count, coupled with 16 reported resolved cases, puts the active case count in the region at 78.

Six new variants of concern were also reported, as well as one new hospitalization due to COVID-19.

The latest cases involve: two females, under the age of 10, under investigation, a female in her 20s, close contact, a female in her 20s, under investigation, a female in her 30s, under investigation, a female in her 50s, close contact, a female, 50s, under investigation (healthcare worker), a female in her 60s, under investigation, three males age 10-19, close contact, a male in his 20s, close contact, a male, in his 20s, under investigation, a male in his 30s, under investigation, a male in her 40s, under investigation,  a male in his 60s, under investigation and a male in his 70s, under investigation.
