16 new COVID-19 cases reported in KFLA on Friday, active case count at 101

KFLA Public Health noted 16 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, compared to 19 recoveries to place the active count at 101 heading into the weekend.

Three people are currently hospitalized in the region due to COVID-19, two of them in the ICU.

The latest cases involve a female in her 90s, under investigation, three females 10 to 19, close contact, a male in his 40s, under investigation, a male under 10, close contact, a male in his 30s, close contact, three males in their 20s, close contact, a female 10 to 19, outbreak related, a female in her 30s, close contact, a male in his 30s, outbreak related, a  male in his 30s, under investigation, a female in her 20s, close contact and a female in her 60s, under invest.

The total number of active cases in the region since the start of the pandemic is now at 464. At 4:45 p.m. Friday the region was moved from yellow community status to orange.
