15 new COVID-19 cases in KFLA on Wednesday, three new variants of concern

KFLA Public Health reported one of its largest one day totals of new COVID-19 cases of the year on Wednesday, noting 15 new cases.

They involve: four females in their 20s, under investigation, four males in their 20s, under investigation, three females age 10 to 19, under investigation, one male age 10 to 19, outbreak related, one female age 10 to 19, outbreak related, one female age 10 to 19, close contact and one female in her 40s, under investigation.

Three new variants of concern have been identified in the region.

One case has been resolved and another was transferred to another region, bringing the active case count to 53.
