Sport Personalities, Celebrities, and Rivalries: Enriching Canada’s Social History

April 30, 2020 @ 7:00 pm

You’re invited to a great night of music at the Lennox and Addington County Museum in Napanee. On Thursday, April 30th at 7pm, join Tom Ward for a performance Live at the Museum. Tom’s vocal and guitar stylings lend themselves to memorable interpretations of classic folk, folk-rock and easy listening favorites from many decades of music. Tom has performed as a solo singer/songwriter/guitarist in bars, pubs, nightspots and private functions since the late 1980s, and is also currently the lead singer and guitarist for a local rock band. In addition to his own compositions, Tom’s repertoire draws from classic hit tunes from some of the great artists, including Gordon Lightfoot, James Taylor, Jim Croce, Harry Chapin, Stan Rogers, Neil Young, Cat Stevens, Ed Sheerhan, Leonard Cohen, Steve Earle, and Tom Rush. Music from the artists and bands of the 50s through 80s provide an endless source of notable acoustic-rock interpretations of songs from The Beatles, America, The Eagles, Tom Petty, The Rolling Stones, John Mellencamp, Bob Seger, The Tragically Hip, Bruce Springsteen, and favorite artists from the 50s, including the Everly Brothers and Buddy Holly. ‘Live at the Museum’ is proudly presented by the County of Lennox & Addington. Tickets are $3 each and are available at the door. Find out more at www.CountyMuseum.ca or call 613-354-3027.
